Like many of you, I had hail damage from 6.21.2023. While waiting for an opening, I had a hit and run accident with a car that sped away after making a batwing left against the light in front of me. All together the damage to my 2020 Altima SL awd was near $18,000. I chose Clear Max Collision since I noticed they were family-owned. After owning several businesses locally, I try to support members of our community working hard to stay in business while providing high quality service. I couldn't be happier with my choice. I've owned 31 cars in my life; this one being the 31st. It only had 17,000 miles but needed very difficult and extensive work to replace the roof, the hood, the trunk, chrome, and much more hidden damage. When I picked up the car today, I was more than impressed since it was completely restored to "as new" condition. You won't make a mistake using Clear Max Collision. They have very accomplished professionals not only in the shop and in the paint area, but the office staff as well. A+++

Just had my 2016 Ram Ecodiesel in for repair. The ladies at the front are great!! They know the insurance companies and how to work with them. They also provide you with all the information you need to make the process as easy as possible. In addition, the work performed by the craftsman in the shop is flawless. The contours are perfect and the paint match is remarkable. My son had his truck repaired here as well and had a similar experience. If you need any paint or bodywork done, this is the only place to go.

The worst possible customer service. Was unwilling to schedule an appointment for me to get an estimate for my front bumper damage. The woman at the front desk said that it would take one month to get to my car if they were to fix my car. Well, a month is absurd!

Horrible experience with this collision center.First thing, I had a scheduled appointment to bring my car in. I had already arranged for a rental vehicle and transportation to and from the shop to pick that up. As I arrived to the shop at my scheduled appointment, the ladies at the front desk informed me they just tried to call me to tell me they needed to re schedule due to the roof they ordered hadn’t come in. They were apologetic and explained it would be best to wait to ensure a timely return.Once the roof arrived I was contacted to schedule again. Clear max had my car for 7 weeks… 7 weeks. Well past my rental agreement. There is no legitimate reason to have the car for 7 weeks, especially after knowing we waited for all parts to arrive. I had to pay out of pocket for the remaining rental as my insurance only covered a set amount.As I picked up the vehicle I noticed the interior was very dirty. Black stains on the roof and visors. The most shocking of all events was picking up the vehicle with a DEAD battery. My car was just over a year old, there is no explanation as to why my battery would be dead other than they left some sort of electronic on. One of the shop workers explained it was due to the cold. However, my car has never been garaged and I never experienced a dead battery due to cold. I took my car to the dealership to have the battery tested and replaced. The dealer acknowledged that the battery is in good health, and an interior light was likely left on. Clear max denied this, and that’s beyond unethical of this company.I do not recommend this shop to anyone who values their time, car, and money. Horrible experience overall. Don’t waste your time with this unethical, unprofessional shop

Absolutely the worst customer service. Their front office will give you the runaround and tell you they only take certain insurance providers even if you are a CASH customer. They will even deny giving you an elaborate lecture about how to file a claim when all you want is a damage quote. It boggles my mind how they keep their front office in order if they choose to lie to their customers when they really just are too booked out to bring your vehicle in. Wasted a whole day attempting to work with this shop when they could have told my wife they were booked on first contact. STAY AWAY if you value your time!

Great customer service. Always answered the phone and was very helpful every time I called about my repair being done. Repairs were top notch on a crunched rear-ended 2021 Jeep. I chose this bodyshop based on Google reviews and I probably should have done a little more research. The thing that sold me with Clear Max was the ladies in the office. They were great throughout the whole process. Other than them the whole process was mediocre at best. It seemed to take longer than it should have to get my truck repaired. When I finally got my truck back the interior was a mess. I was told that it sat in the shop without the windshield in it for a couple of days and that's why it was dirty. Really, and no one thought to clean it? The ladies in the office came out with rags and wiped it down and apologized. A couple of days later I'm driving at night and someone pulled up next to me and informed me that I didn't have any marker/parking lights. My fuse apparently blew when I had my accident. A couple of more days later I went to use my remote start and found out it wasn't working. Still haven't figured out what's wrong with it. And today I found out that the alignment is out. My paperwork shows that an alignment was done but the wheel that was hit in the accident is showing the camber is out. I will say my truck looks good but it's the little things along the way has been frustrating.

Got T-boned in a an ice storm and needed an entire door replaced. Clearmax crushed the job!! Replaced the door and then some. Paint job was flawless. Went ahead and added windshield replacement and touched up the paint on the entire vehicle. No kidding, my vehicle looked brand new just like the day I bought it. I’m pretty particular about my cars and want them all to be perfect. These guys did some trim work for me on my truck. Quoted me half what I expected and did a killer job. So I came back for some mild body work and paint work on my wife’s car and they crushed it again! Same price point… about half. So my next move will secure it. I’ve got some work that I need done on my collectible that I struggle with because I don’t like to leave it with people but I will. BTW, it’s worth the visit to meet the two dogs that love everyone!

Just picked up my truck from Clear Max yesterday. These folks did an INCREDIBLE job. They also dealt with an incredibly rude insurance adjuster on my behalf, and went above and beyond to get my truck fixed up the right way. Everything was perfect. The paint is flawless and looks better than factory paint. The truck looks amazing all the way around. They fought for me and tried to help me by showing the adjuster additional damage. 1. What do I do first?

The first thing to do when you need a collision repair in Colorado Springs is call the insurance agent/company to file a claim.

2. Do I need to get more than one estimate?

The insurance company will either have you take your car to their facility, their preferred collision center, or have an adjuster come to you to get the initial estimate done on your vehicle.

3. Do I have to get my vehicle fixed at their preferred collision center or can I use any shop?

They will try to get you to, however, it is YOUR DECISION! A lot of people call the dealership and ask them who they use for collision repair in Colorado Springs.

4. Does CMC work with my insurance company?

We work with all insurance companies.

5. Do I need to make an appointment to bring my car and insurance estimate by for CMC to look at it?

It is best if you make an appointment, that way we can be sure that an estimator is on site.

6. Will you waive my deductible?

We are working off of a discounted rate with the Insurance company already. Be leery if you have a shop agree to waive your deductible because–

A: they could be adding things to the estimate that they are not actually repairing or writing a high estimate to cover the cost; B: if they take the deductible out of their profit they could be cutting corners to make up for it.

7. Will you only fix some of the damage and give me the money back for the work that isn’t done?

If it is a customer pay repair, we will fix whatever you ask us to based on the agreement made between us. If it is an insurance job, we are required to repair everything included in the estimate. Not only is it fraudulent on our part to not fix everything included in the estimate, but it is also a safety issue and could make us liable if someone was hurt or killed in an accident because we didn’t do a repair correctly or completely.

8. What if I have prior damage, will you just “fix that while you are there?”

We will fix prior damage with an agreement/understanding, that you will be responsible for the difference in cost to repair prior damage.

9. Do you use OEM parts?

We use OEM parts as much as possible, this is a battle between us and your insurance company because they only want to pay for after market parts, you don’t like that and we don’t like that either. Most of the time we can get our suppliers to give us the OEM parts at a discount so that we can do what’s best for you and your vehicle.

10. Do you guarantee your work?

We guarantee our work for as long as YOU own your vehicle.

11. How long does it take for a collision repair in Colorado Springs?

As a general guideline, most small repairs take 3-5 working days and a large collision can take up to a month. This does not account for delays in receiving parts, insurance issues, or highly difficult repairs. Completing work quickly is important to all parties, but most important is a proper and safe repair that returns your vehicle to its pre-loss state or better!
